Frequently Asked Questions

 

When I begin checking out, it looks like every package will be shipped to me instead of my recipients.

 

If this occurs, a recipient was not specified for each gift before it was added to cart.  If a recipient is not specified for any gift you added to your cart, it will ship to you.  Once you do, they'll be saved for future use.

 

Recipient Selection Process:

 

1)  Choose either yourself, a previous recipient, or new recipient from top shipping drop-down list
 

 
To start process, click the drop-down in the box below the message "You must choose a recipient before Adding to Cart".  Then click, not just point, on "Ship to yourself", or a Name you've entered previously, or on "New - continue typing name here".

2)  When adding a new recipient, type in their first name in the second box as shown below
 

3)  After Steps 1 & 2 are complete as shown above, finish this gift selection by clicking “Add to Cart” to send this gift to checkout.

After you've completed the order for this gift, just start over for the next one.  Repeat until you're finished shopping, then click Proceed to Checkout.  All necessary information will be requested at that point.
 
The new recipient’s name will appear in the top drop-down in the future.  When you finish shopping and proceed to checkout, you'll be asked for their address and other shipping information.  It will all be saved for future use, so shopping will be much easier and faster the next time you log in.
 
When I start to check out, I don’t see the names of the recipients of the gifts I ordered.

 

See above FAQ.  For each individual gift you order, you must choose a recipient, either yourself or someone else, BEFORE you Add to Cart.  If this step is skipped, checkout will assume the package will be shipped to you.
 
Below the picture and description on each gift page, there are options boxes where you choose the size of the gift, type in the gift message, and make a note of any arrival date preference, and choose the recipient for this gift.  See the previous FAQ for full instructions.

Can I go back and add a recipient after I've added a gift to the Cart?
 
The designation of the gift recipient must take place before it's added to the cart.  If this step was missed, just remove the gift without a recipient from the cart by clicking on the "x" on the right of the description in the cart, and then reorder the gift, adding the recipient before adding it to the cart.  If you cut and paste the gift message, it'll take only a minute or so.

After having a failure when submitting payment, I corrected the problem but the charge will still not be approved.
 
If you try to submit a payment with the same credit card number more than once in 2 minutes, the charged will be blocked by our processor.  This prevents inadvertant double charges, or fraudulent activity.  Wait another minute or two before trying to run the charge again.
 
Why won't the system accept my credit card even though I know it's valid?
 
Check to make sure your billing address is correct, and the card number, expiration, and security code are entered properly.  If the charge still won't go through, it's possible that your card company may have blocked the charge through their fraud prevention measures.  While you can call the card company to see, the quick way is to call us at 800-672-6439.  We'll be able to see your order, and can run your card in the store, which usually works.  We'll take care of finalizing the order from there.
